The Special Education classroom offers unique challenges to school staff, including the possibility of injury. Injuries caused by students — accidental or otherwise — and over-exertion related to helping lift and transfer students with special needs are significant risks. 

This course offers cautionary information and practical tips to help you minimize the possibility of injury.
