Fund members have a 50-year legacy of sharing risk and succeeding together. Nothing captures the collaborative spirit that connects members quite like Members' Conference. Don't miss this opportunity to network with peers, learn with (and from) each other, and celebrate your shared success as Fund members.

Why Attend Members' Conference?

  • No cost! Members' Conference is a benefit of Fund membership.
  • Complimentary hotel room. The Fund is pleased to offer one complimentary hotel stay for up to two nights per Fund member organization (based on availability). When you register for the conference, your confirmation email will include instructions for booking a room.
  • More than 20 educational sessions. School risk management experts, including your peers, will lead educational sessions on topics that matter, including compliance. Some sessions will qualify for continuing education credit.
  • Networking opportunities. The welcome reception, first-time attendee breakfast, membership luncheon, and member awards dinner are perfect opportunities to make lasting connections with colleagues in your region and share solutions to mutual challenges.

Gather at the Kalahari Event Barn for games, great food, and good company. Test your skills in yard games such as ladder golf, horseshoes, and cornhole while enjoying a tempting spread of hors d’oeuvres. Registration required.

Enjoy a plated membership luncheon, the perfect setting to network with peers and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. After lunch, dive into a timely panel discussion on “Managing Risk in an Evolving Regulatory Environment.” Industry experts will share actionable strategies for navigating compliance changes, mitigating emerging risks, and preparing for the future.

Join us for an evening of celebration and connection! Associate Executive Director of TASB Risk Management Services, Mary Barrett, will deliver a State of the Fund address and share leadership’s vision for the future. We will also recognize Excellence Awards recipients and RM 101 participants, honoring their commitment to innovation and risk management excellence.

Devon Harris, an original member of the Jamaican bobsled team and motivational speaker, will share his powerful story of perseverance and success.

Joel Zeff is a force of nature and a catalyst for change who brings unrestrained energy and a refreshing blend of humor, insight, and heart to the conference stage.

Through his work as a journalist and corporate communications consultant, Zeff discovered that what organizations often need most is a renewed sense of joy, passion, and perspective. He draws on improvisational comedy and interactive storytelling to introduce the concept of TA DA! 

This simple yet profound concept encourages individuals and organizations to celebrate everyday successes, foster a culture of positive support, and unlock their full potential.

Devon Harris: Olympian, Actor, Advocate for Change

Devon Harris


Devon Harris’ journey from a violent environment in Kingston, Jamaica to the Olympic stage is a testament to resilience, leadership, and the belief that attitude can shape destiny.

As a founding member of the Jamaican bobsled team, immortalized in the film Cool Runnings, Harris competed in three Winter Olympics. Today, he channels his experiences and passion into empowering children.

Harris' work as an athlete ambassador with Right to Play helps children in refugee camps build confidence and community through sport. His Keep On Pushing Foundation enhances education in disadvantaged communities, as well as supports breakfast and school supply programs in his old neighborhood.
