Course description

In this abbreviated excerpt from the IEP Compliance (Full Course), school staff members will be provided with basic information about Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) — from definition to content to accountability. The IEP information flow process is described including explanations about the team involved and the document itself. We’ll cover the importance of confidentiality under FERPA law and who should know about the contents of a particular IEP. You’ll also gain a better understanding of IEP content including present levels, goals, progress reporting, accommodations, participation with peers, transition planning and transfer of IDEA rights.

This course is required by law for school district employees.
