What differentiates the Fund when it comes to information security and resources? We provide expert guidance on privacy and information security protocols, compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and best practices.
The Fund provides Privacy & Information Security Coverage to members of the Property and/or School Liability programs as a value added benefit at no additional cost. The coverage provides protection for costs that members might incur in the event of a data or privacy breach.
The Fund partners with Beazley, one of the world’s premiere providers of information security and data breach response services. According to Beazley, the two largest single causes of breaches are hacking/malware attacks and loss or theft of personal devices. The Fund's Privacy & Information Security coverage provides the tools needed to help resolve these issues.
Privacy & Information Security cannot be purchased as a standalone coverage.
Fund Members benefit from ongoing support and information provided by the Fund’s Special Risks Program Consultant, Cristina Blanton. Contact her at 888.920.5130, ext. 2893 for information and training.
In addition, she can assist with developing best practices or protocols and compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to information security, data breach prevention, the use of technology and education apps in schools, and other issues related to cyber security.
