Texas Cybersecurity Awareness for Employees
Assign this course to employees who must comply with the state's annual cybersecurity training requirement.
Course Description
State law requires every school district's designated cybersecurity program coordinator to complete a Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR)-approved training program annually. The requirement also applies to trustees and employees who have access to district computer systems or databases and who use a computer to perform at least 25 percent of required duties. This DIR-approved course covers security awareness essentials, social engineering, and data protection best practices.
