Posting About Office of Injured Employee Counsel Ombudsman Program
State law requires employers to post this notice of the ombudsman program in the workplace.
Ombudsman are state employees who can assist injured employees if they have a dispute with their employer’s insurance carrier. State law specifies where employers must post the ombudsman notice in the workplace. The notice is available in English and Spanish, but employers must provide it in any other language common to their employees.
All employers participating in the workers' compensation system shall post notice of OIEC's Ombudsman Program. 28 TAC §276.5 (c).
