2025 TASB Risk Management Fund Excellence Awards
The Excellence Awards program recognizes Fund members that implement effective, impactful, unique solutions to risk management challenges.
Nominations Open May 19 - September 30
The TASB Risk Management Fund Excellence Awards recognizes Fund members who have implemented impactful and unique solutions to risk management challenges. Up to five Fund members will be awarded up to $5,000 to apply toward their risk management programs. Award recipients will be invited to be recognized at the Fund’s Members’ Conference held April 26-28, 2026 at Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, TX.

Important Dates:
- May 19: Excellence Award nominations open
- September 30, 2025: Nominations close
- By December 15, 2025: Award recipients notified
- April 26-28, 2026: Award recipients recognized during the Fund’s Members’ Conference held at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in Round Rock, TX
Eligibility
- Members may nominate their own organization or another Fund member for an Excellence Award.
- Members must participate in at least one of the following Fund programs through April 2026: Auto, Liability, Property, Workers’ Compensation, or Cyber Liability & Security. - Submissions should describe a recently completed risk management initiative, product, or program
- Entries will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Effectiveness in resolving a risk management challenge
- Level of impact on the organization
- Innovation and creativity in developing and implementing the risk management solution
- The nomination form must be submitted with acknowledgement from the nominee’s executive director, president, or superintendent.
Previous Award Winners
Previous Excellence Award-winning nominations have featured a variety of risk management initiatives, including student behavior management, bus driver retention, and emergency response training.
