Morris Blankenship of Adrian ISD was appointed to the Risk Management Fund Board in August 2007. He previously served on the TASB Board of Directors from October 1995 to September 2004 and was a member of the charter Leadership TASB class of 1993.
Morris has served as president for organizations such as the Adrian Lions Club, the Panhandle Area School Board Association, the Simms Lions Club, and Camp Blue Haven, a Christian youth camp in New Mexico.
Morris earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Abilene Christian and a Master's Degree in Math at Texas Christian University. Morris is owner-operator of a farm and cattle operation in Deaf Smith County and chief pilot for the Jack B. Kelley Company in Amarillo.
