Description: Many Texas school districts sustained flood damages due to storms from either Hurricane Harvey or other extreme storms. This presentation will discuss the impacts caused by the floods and how some districts were able to minimize their damages by quick response. It will discuss some of the obstacles that districts have to face when put in this situation. The presentation will also include TASB Flood Coverage, flood zones and a glimpse of the damage assessment and claims process.
