Kevin A. Carbo, Sr.

Carbo was appointed to the Risk Management Fund Board of Trustees June 2002. He is a board member of Mesquite ISD, and has held the positions of president, vice-president and secretary. A graduate of the Leadership TASB program in 1998, where he earned the designation of master trustee, Carbo also has participated in the TASB Legislative Advisory Council, Delegate Assembly, Federal Relations Network, and has testified before Texas House and Senate Committees for the TASB GR Team. 

At the local level, Carbo is active in the Mesquite Citizens Police Academy and the Mesquite Hispanic Forum. A Senior Print Manager with Allstate Insurance Company, he earned his bachelor's degree at Dallas Baptist University and master's degree at the University of Dallas.

He currently sits as vice-chair of the National Hispanic Caucus of School Board Members, a caucus of the NSBA. 

Carbo and his wife Jossie have two children, Jessica and Kevin II.
