Standard Response Protocol (SRP) Train-the-Trainer Course Completed
A uniform classroom response is critical to school safety and security. SRP consists of specific actions that participants, including students, staff, teachers, and first responders, can perform during an incident. Presented by John-Michael Keyes, I Love U Guys Foundation, this train-the-trainer course presented the SRP, how to train others on the SRP, how to conduct drills, and how to recruit partners such as law enforcement, fire, educators, and administrators. Practical Considerations after the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting - Video and Audio Recordings Available to Members
School administrators and board members across the state are facing a number of critical decisions, including whether to allow concealed weapons on campus. On March 1, the Fund hosted a special symposium to assist schools in considering several factors before making these critical decisions.
