Ben Coker

Coker was appointed to the Risk Management Fund Board in November 1999. He is a former president of the Northeast Texas Association of School Business Officials and a member of the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO), the Texas Association of School Administrators, the Association of School Business Officials International, and the Government Finance Officers Association. He has worked closely with TASB in the areas of workers' compensation, financial management, and policy. Coker is the Assistant Superintendent for Business Services with Highland Park ISD-Dallas County. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he earned his doctorate in education. Coker has completed the TASBO training requirements to be designated as a Registered Texas School Business Administrator.
