Eduardo Ramos is the Chief Financial Officer at Austin ISD. He previously served as Chief Finance and Operations Officer at Pflugerville ISD. Eduardo has over 25 years of school leadership experience and has overseen eight departments, including finance, treasury, risk management, budget, purchasing, transportation, technology, grounds, custodial, maintenance, and facilities construction. He currently oversees a $1.6 billion operating budget, has testified on behalf of public education at the legislative level, and has overseen one-half billion in bond projects. He was appointed to the TASB Risk Management Fund Board in August 2013.
Eduardo believes in servant leadership and has served on several boards and committees, including Board of Directors of the Hutto Family YMCA, Temple College at Taylor Board of Directors, past President of the Capital Area Texas Association of School Business Officials, TEA Legislative Committee on Special Education Funding, Finance Council for Pflugerville Community Church, Hutto Rotary Club Treasurer, and TASBO Board of Directors. Eduardo graduated from St. Edwards University with a BBA in accounting and finance.
Eduardo grew up as a migrant farmworker and is the son of immigrant parents whose dream was to provide a better life for their children in the U.S.
