Strategies for Averting Disruptive or Unsafe Student Behavior

Unwarranted behavior from students has unfortunately become more common in schools in recent years, and these instances are not just unique to students with special needs. When inconsistently managed, this behavior can lead to lost teaching time, disrupted learning time, and injury to both staff and students. While this topic is complex, there are short-term improvements and long-term practices that have been proven to reduce the potential for disruptions. This webinar will provide some background to the causes and information that may provide district staff insight on how to prevent these occurrences.
