Medical Treatment Overview and Alliance Information

The Fund, along with other pools in the Political Subdivision Workers' Compensation Alliance (the Alliance), has chosen to directly contract with medical providers to treat injured workers as provided for in Texas Labor Code 504.053. This effort is explained further on the Alliance Web Site. Alliance training sessions are currently taking place and being scheduled by region.

Member Notification of Alliance Implementation

Because this process is a large undertaking and is very similar to developing a WC Network, we are notifying our members by region. It is strongly suggested that all Fund WC members attend one of the Alliance training sessions when notified.
