Course Objectives

The purpose of this FREE course is to help Workers' Compensation and Property and Liability auto program members understand basic terms and requirements for vehicle accident investigation. The investigator will recognize his or her role apart from that of law enforcement. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant should be able to gather information about a collision to support the district in case of legal action and to prevent recurrence. This course is recommended for all risk management and safety specialists, transportation directors, operations supervisors, trainers, and others involved in vehicle collision investigations.
