2010 Fund Members' Conference: Continuing Education 

The Fund offers approved continuing education (CE) credit from the following entities: 

  • Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC)
  • Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA - CPE Sponsor ID: 009474). No prerequisites are required to attend conference courses.
  • Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO)
  • Texas Department of Insurance (TDI - Adjuster CE) 
    • The following courses have been approved by TDI at 1 hour each for adjuster CE: 
      • Return to Work: Jobs Saved and Created
      • A Day in the Life of Risk Management and Claims: Part 1
      • A Day in the Life of Risk Management and Claims: Part 2
      • Workers' Compensation Claim Reporting: Part 1
      • Workers' Compensation Claim Reporting: Part 2
      • Property Loss Advice for your District
      • Importance of Effective Workers' Compensation Claims Communications

Again this year upon registration, attendees will be given a CE tracking card and will be responsible for maintaining it throughout the conference. After each session, a code will be given out by the session presenter and moderator to place on the CE card.  At the conclusion of the conference or before leaving, attendees must turn in their cards to the designated CE table. 

The cards will be certified, scanned, and e-mailed back to attendees within 30 days. Those receiving adjuster credit will also receive a CE certificate.  Be sure to write your e-mail address legibly on the card.
