Loss Prevention Hot Topics: School Bus Emergency Evacuation Training Initiative

A new Loss Prevention Services initiative for 2008 is the School Bus Emergency Evacuation Training Initiative. The Fund Board of Trustees approved $120,000 to purchase 600 copies of an interactive CD training package “Just in Case” produced by Region 10 ESC and Dallas County Schools. The training packages focus on meeting legislative requirements that mandate school district training for students and teachers on procedures for evacuating a school bus during an emergency. Training packages will be provided to the Fund’s WC and Auto program members.
