Clemente (Clem) Zabalza
Assistant Director of Loss Prevention Services

Clemente (Clem) joined TASB Risk Management Services as a Senior Prevention Consultant in February 1998. He is currently the Assistant Director of Loss Prevention Services and is located in Austin, Texas. Mr. Zabalza is responsible for assisting the director of loss prevention services with the day-to-day operation of the division, and providing loss prevention services to Property/Casualty and Workers' Compensation members located in ESC Region 13. Clem began his accident prevention and loss prevention career in 1993. He completed an intensive loss prevention consultant training program with a workers' compensation carrier and worked with public and private employers in Texas. Clem is certified as an Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) and is also responsible for servicing members' bilingual loss prevention needs statewide.

Clem earned a BBA from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, with a major in Marketing and Finance, and a Masters of Science in Occupational Safety from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
