Welcome to your new online News & Views!

To keep up with the ever-changing world of information technology and to serve you better, the Fund has decided to change the format of your quarterly News & Views newsletter. Our goal is to ensure that you still benefit from the same useful and timely information in a new user-friendly online format!

From this issue forward, the Fund will no longer mass mail paper issues to members. Members will instead receive the new online issue every quarter by e-mail with an option to print. This new format enables faster delivery and receipt, and allows you to forward the newsletter with ease to more people in your district.

Below is a list of the new features:

• Upper right hand corner
  The Subscribe feature allows district personnel who are not designated program contacts to be added to the e-mail list for future issues of the newsletter. The E-mail and Print options allow you to forward the articles to others within your organization that may not need a quarterly subscription. 
  
• Right side of main page
  The Events Calendar lists all TASB RMF-specific training, in addition to other organizations such as TASBO and PRIMA. You can click on the “+” and “–“ features to expand or reduce the information for the events.
  
• Top of page
  The Archive will list links to the last four issues of the News & Views.
  Tasbrmf.org is a link to the Fund Web Site, where you will find reports, forms, and other useful information on training, awards, and grants. Resources is a collection of related Web sites and information for Fund members.
  
• Body of main page
  You will notice helpful tools such as the following article descriptors:  [Loss Prevention], [Workers’ Compensation], [Property/Casualty], and [Unemployment Compensation], which are used to label the article for quick navigation to the information you specifically need.

The new News & Views format emphasizes the importance of ensuring we have the most up-to-date and accurate e-mail contact data. If this has reached you in error or a new contact needs to be added to our e-mail list, please let us know!
