The Fund Enhances Property Appraisal Services

The TASB Risk Management Fund is pleased to announce its partnership with American Appraisal for property appraisal services and products. American Appraisal is a leader in the valuation field and offers industry expertise, extensive experience serving large public entities, and advanced online technology.

The Fund’s Property program members will benefit from this new partnership by being able to access, manage, and share appraisal data – anytime and anywhere – with a Web-based reporting system. Some of the online functions include:

  • Select and print reports with a simple click of a button
  • Street or satellite views through Google Maps
  • View detailed inspection and appraisal reports, building photographs, contents, and land improvement reports
  • Export appraisal data to an Excel file for internal use or as a simple PDF
  • Filter data elements and selection criteria for an exact result or range
  • View graphs and charts identifying select COPE and TIV data

The most anticipated system feature allows members the ability to make changes directly to their property schedules via the online tools.

TASB staff is always available and will continue to assist members with  property appraisal questions. Coming in 2012, the Fund’s Webinar Series will feature sessions introducing American Appraisal, demonstrating the enhanced appraisal tools, and providing training on how to get the most out of the online services.

We are excited that these new service capabilities will make doing business with the Fund easier and further the Fund’s commitment to provide its members with comprehensive risk management solutions.
