Loss Prevention Grant Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a current TASB Risk Management Fund Pool member in Workers' Compensation, Property, or Auto.
- Must be a current member in the line of coverage relating to the grant monies requested.
- Application must have superintendent/chief executive approval.
- Must intend to remain a member in the line of coverage relating to the grant award for all of Fiscal Year 2011/12 (September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012). If the grant recipient fails to do so, the member understands and agrees to reimburse the TASB Risk Management Fund grant monies provided.
- Total amount of grant money requested and received may not exceed the members' eligibility amount in the line of coverage relating to the requested. No Fund member may receive more than $4,000.
- Equipment, training, and/or services requested must be for loss prevention and address:
- Loss reductions in particular line of coverage -or-
- Loss Prevention for exposure with the highest potential of occurrence. (This criterion applies to districts with zero or low frequency rates).
- Applications will be evaluated and grants awarded based on a well-documented justification for equipment, contract services, or contract training.
