Doralee Thrasher
Division Director, x3587

Doralee Thrasher is the Division Director for the Underwriting and Marketing units. She oversees the pricing and administration of the property/casualty, workers' compensation, and unemployment compensation programs as well as overseeing all marketing consultants and activities. This division works closely with the Fund's actuaries and responds to proposals and various coverage issues in order to meet Fund members' risk management needs.

Doralee has worked in underwriting and administration since 1980 and has been with TASB since 1988. Prior to joining TASB, she was Risk Manager for Travis County, Texas, where she was responsible for all of the risk management programs, including health care, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, and the property and casualty lines. She has also worked as an underwriter at various companies including Farmers Insurance and Sentry Life and Health Insurance Company. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech.

Todd Shade
Assistant Division Director, x3528

Todd Shade joined TASB in January of 1996. Todd has been in the insurance industry since 1986. Todd's extensive knowledge of the insurance industry includes employee benefits, workers' compensation, and property/casualty coverage. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota, with a B.S. in Business Administration. Todd holds a multi-lines claims adjuster license. Todd is responsible for the training and supervision of 6 risk management consultants that sell TASB's risk management programs to Texas school districts.

Roy Wheeler
Assistant Division Director, x6252

Roy Wheeler has over 25 years of insurance and risk management experience, with the majority of that time focused on Political Subdivisions. Mr. Wheeler is responsible for coordinating TASB's Marketing and Special Program efforts which include the Group Purchase Term Life Program, Group Purchase Long-Term Disability Program, Entity-Sponsored Auto and Homeowner's Program, and Section 125/Supplemental Benefits Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin and the Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
